Mindy Hart

MINDY LEE HART was born to Howard and Patricia (Gehrke) Hart on October 11, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church. She moved with her family to Luverne, Minnesota in 1976 and attended school in Luverne. Mindy was confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Luverne and graduated in the class of 1987 from Luverne High School. Following her education Mindy attended Worthington Community College and Granite Falls Technical School. She then moved to Marshall, Minnesota and began work as a Nurse’s Aide. Mindy went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the age of 45 years, 9 months and 10 days.

Mindy was a loving and kind person who enjoyed her life. She loved her angel figurines and spending time with friends. Most of all, Mindy enjoyed helping people, especially when they were at the end of their lives; she had a natural talent for giving comfort to them. She was a friend of Bill W.

She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer Haney; two sisters, Carolyn and her husband, Rev. Daniel Larson of Lawler, Iowa and Pamela Hart of Luverne, Minnesota; two nephews, Joey and Andy Larson; two nieces, Rachel and Jessie Larson; two great-nieces, Ava and Ella Henson; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pat Hart; brother, David Hauge; and grandparents, Howard and Eula Hart and Alvin and Pearl Gehrke.
