Aaron Constance Aubert

August 9, 1990 — January 9, 2015

AARON CONSTANCE AUBERT was born on August 9, 1990, to Brian and Valinda (Carlson) Aubert in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was baptized as an infant, and again when he was 11 years old at Split Rock Creek State Park. He attended grade school and high school in Pipestone, graduating in 2009. During high school he worked at Hank’s Foods in Pipestone. After graduation, he attended Minnesota West in Worthington, Minnesota on a football scholarship. In 2009, he began working at J and B Group where he worked until the time of his death. On Friday, January 9, 2015, Aaron passed away unexpectedly at the Pipestone County Medical Center at the age of 24 years and five months.

Aaron was a member of Faith Community Church in Pipestone. Aaron loved playing ball with his niece and nephews. He always had open arms for them and was a great role model; he would play with them all day long. His dog, Tucker, was a great companion when he was alone; they took great care of each other. He loved sports, whether it was football, bowling, or just throwing a ball. He was high school all conference and played football for Minnesota West. He will be remembered by his high school friends and anyone who attended football games. The “Man-Child” Aaron Aubert was called out often when he got a tackle. He also received a bowling scholarship; he was a great power bowler. He spent endless hours playing ball and breaking windows with his brother, Chris. Aaron made lots of trips with the guys up to Vikings and Twins games. He enjoyed many types of music and going to concerts. Sunday Fun Day out to eat with Mom and Dad was a favorite weekly event. Any family event was a must to go to!

Aaron is lovingly remembered by his parents, Brian and Valinda Aubert of Pipestone; his sister, Ashley (Jason Bitker) Aubert of Slayton, Minnesota; his best friend – who was like a brother – Chris Dougherty, of Pipestone; grandparents, Don and Donna Straw of Pipestone, and Marilyn Carlson of Lake Wilson, Minnesota; one niece, Jaelyn Bitker; two nephews, Colton and Chant Mitchell; his best friend dog, Tucker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Constance Marvin Aubert, and Lyle Martin Carlson; and one niece, Ceona Mitchell.
