Obituary for Allen R. Rosen
ALLEN RAY ROSEN, age 87, died on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Parkview Nursing Home in Belview, Minnesota.
Allen was born to Gust & Esther (Williams) Rosen on August 26, 1933, along with twin sister, Ellen. He attended school at the Red Top School and later graduated from Russell High School. He joined the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1960. Following an honorable discharge, he returned home to farm near Russell. He married LaDonna Wendland in 1962. They had three children: Monte, Todd, and Carmen. After 16 years of farming, he changed occupations to drive over-the-road truck until retiring in 2001. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and horses.
He is survived by ex-wives, LaDonna Rosen and Phyllis Rosen; children, Monte Rosen of Balaton, Todd Rosen of Garvin, and Carmen Rosen of Willmar; sister, Leta Moat; sister-in-law, Maria Rosen; brother-in-law, Richard Bebus; nine nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Gust and Esther Rosen; twin sister, Ellen Bebus; brother, Kenneth Rosen; and nephew, Kenny Rosen.
