Doreen Joy Grant

Doreen Joy Grant was born on July 13, 1958 in Midland, Michigan to Bruce and Betty (Hougland) Proctor. On June 8, 1979 Doreen enlisted in the United States Army with the rank of Specialist Four and later was honorably discharged on December 7, 1981.

Doreen enjoyed doing crafts, diamond painting, putting puzzles together and playing video games.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Schelhaas of Pipestone, Minnesota; siblings, Jeff Proctor of Big Rapids, Michigan, Amy (Robert) Wilkins of New Mexico, Les (Rebecca) Traylor of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; son-in-law, Duane Schelhaas; grandchildren, Belinda Spencer, Brittany Ellis (fiancé, Cornell Miles), Benjamin and Precious Barber, Brendon and Karrie Ellis; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Maddison, Romeo, Lillian, Harley, Amelia, Owen and baby due December 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Betty Proctor and her husband, Edward Grant.
