Evelyn was a lifelong member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Benton, Minnesota where she was baptized on March 26, 1922, and confirmed on June 27, 1937. She served as a Sunday School teacher for many years and was a member of the Dorcas Society and the SJ Club. She was also a member of the Lake Benton Senior Citizens. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and card playing.
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her children, Terry Trautman of Neligh, Nebraska and Allan Trautman and his wife, Sue of Darwin, Minnesota; grandchildren, Taylor and Tim Trautman of Minnetonka, Minnesota; and sister, Lorraine Brandt of Hendricks, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; her parents, Alfred and Katherina Cyriacks; brothers, Walter and Marvin Cyriacks; sisters, Doreen Kinner, Madalyn Huska, Marie Bushman, and Bernice Trautman; an infant brother; and a grandchild, Gregory Trautman.
