Jacquelyn credited the soft spot in her heart for civic organizations to her year long stint as a patient of the Shriner’s Hospital at the young age of three due to a hip condition. She enjoyed her time as a member of the Eastern Star in Garretson and was a top officer. She was also active in P.T.A., a Cub Scout leader and part of the Ladies Aid in Jasper. She enjoyed life and knew how to find the good in each day. Jackie loved raising her family and had high expectations for her children and was proud of each of them. Her other hobbies included bowling and dancing; she was especially fond of the waltz and polkas. She was a wonderful cook and passed on this talent to her children.
Jacquelyn’s life will be celebrated by her three sons: Dennis Neuman of George, Iowa, Regge (Donna) Neuman of Jackson, Minnesota, Robert (Mary) Neuman of Benson, Minnesota; and one daughter, Debra (Arnold) Brondsema of Beaver Creek, Minnesota; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Donna) Straw of Pipestone, Minnesota; and a sister, Kay (Arlen) Skorr of Mankato, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Neuman; son, Darwin Reverts; and two grandsons, James and Jacob Neuman.
