Obituary for Jaye M. Houtcooper
Jaye M. Houtcooper, age 49, of Mountain Home, Idaho, died at his home, on Sunday, August 25, 2013.
Jaye was born July 16, 1964, in Moline, Illinois. He graduated from high school in Pipestone, Minnesota and then one year later joined the US Air Force in which he served 11 years. He was trained in electrical work.
After his 11 years with the Air Force, Jaye settled in Mountain Home. He worked for Micron Technology in Boise. He was very much an outdoorsman, loving his hunting, fishing, gardening; and living with his significant other and her two boys Joseph and Marcus.
Jaye is survived by one son, Levi of Meridian, Idaho, his mother Sandra Saunders-Powell and her husband Vaughn Powell of Illinois, his sister Debra and her husband Kenneth Smith of Nebraska, his brother Scott Houtcooper of Georgia, many aunts, uncles and also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard.
