She was baptized August 18, 1918 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Trosky, Minnesota and later confirmed on December 20, 1959 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Luverne, Minnesota. She died there peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 19, 2015 at the age of 101 years.
