After World War II they farmed on the Faaborg farm in Marshfield Township near Tyler, Minnesota. They retired in 1976 and moved into Tyler. Alfred died in 1980. Wilma continued to live in their home until 2011when she moved to Danebod Village. In 2013, she entered Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Tyler where on Friday, January 2, 2015 Wilma died at the age of 98.
