BEULAH "BOBBIE" BARBARA FLOODY was born on February 24, 1923 to Henry and Frieda (Hillesheim) Pechtel in New Ulm, Minnesota. She lived in New Ulm, Mahnomen, St. Paul, Luverne and Pipestone throughout her life. On August 30th, 1947, she was united in marriage to James Richard Floody at the Church of St. Luke in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1950 they moved to Pipestone. When Dick entered the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne in 1994, Beulah moved to Luverne to be close to him. After his death, she moved to Falls Landing in Pipestone in October, 2014. She entered the care of the Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone in June of 2019. She died peacefully there on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 97 years, nine months, and 25 days.

She was a member of St. Catherine's Church in Luverne where she was active with the Luverne Council of Catholic Women. She volunteered at the Minnesota Veteran's Home, the Mary Jane Brown Home and the Senior Dining Center in Luverne. She enjoyed walking, dancing, playing cards, volunteering and being involved with the Prayer Line. One of her favorite past times was watching the Lawrence Welk Show, concluding with, "Have a happy week and keep a song in your heart!"

Beulah "Bobbie" is lovingly remembered by her children, Dr. Dale (Virginia) Floody of Holmen, Wisconsin, Dean Floody of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Marcia Delisle of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Maureen (Dave) Trnka of Mandan, North Dakota, and Don Floody of Pipestone, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Heather (Justin), Nathan (Cara), Angela, Jeremiah (Dianna), Ryan (Jackie), Wesley (Alison), and Evan; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Willard; loving husband, Richard; three sons, David, Doug, Dennis; and an infant daughter.
