John Charles Paulson, 63 years old, passed away peacefully at his home in Jasper, Minnesota on May 12, 2026. He was the husband of Elma Majorenos Paulson. They shared 13 years together. John was born in Britton, South Dakota on July 2, 1962. He is the 4th son of the late Darrel and Cleo Paulson. He took his GED test and finished his degree of Associate of Applied Sciences Engineering at Casper College, Casper Wyoming.
Prior to meeting Elma Majorenas Paulson, he worked at the Oil Rig in Gillette, Wyoming for so many years. A career that took him to different places as a driver. He was a familiar face to many in the oil fields. He was the kind of man who never backed down from a challenge, no matter the weather or even when he is not feeling well.
John's truest joy was found at home. He was a loving and dedicated husband to Elma. A wonderful fur daddy to Rocky (dog) and Oliver (cat). He loves collecting old coins, old mailing stamps, historical rocks and doing metal detecting. He also loves fishing with his wife Elma.
He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church and actively participated in God's ministry. He serves as a deacon in Pipestone SDA Church, Minnesota and also involved in Prison Ministry. He will surely be remembered for his loving personality, generosity, self sacrificing character (he will go above and beyond to care and help other people), and a man of faith.
He is survived by Elma Majorenos Paulson (wife). His siblings, Darrell Paulson and Jeanne Paulson.
He was preceded in death by parents Darell and Cleo Paulson, sisters Majorie and Deanne, Brother Don and a newborn twin sisters.
You may be gone John, but you will never be forgotten. See you on that bright resurrection morning, our beloved John.
