Linda Ann Bolluyt was born on May 8, 1942, to Raymond and Helen (Albers) Feist in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She was raised and attended school in Pipestone, Minnesota. On June 8, 1959, she was united in marriage to Arlyn Bolluyt in Pipestone. Following their marriage, they resided on a farm outside of Hatfield, Minnesota. In 1960, she graduated from Pipestone High School in Pipestone. Over the years she was employed at Lange's Café in Pipestone, Hatfield Bar in Hatfield, Minnesota, and Loopy's in Pipestone. Arlyn preceded her in death on May 22, 1999. After his death she continued to reside on the farm until January 2024 when she became a resident at Edgebrook Care Center in Edgerton, Minnesota. She died there on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 20 days.
Linda was a member of First Reformed Church in Edgerton where she was involved with the Joy Circle. She was also a member of the CBS (cooking, baking, sewing) Extension and card club playing pinochle. She collected Beanie Babies and ceramic dolls, played canasta, participated in a bowling league, made clothes for a young Bob and Brad, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her four children, Robert (Joy) Bolluyt of Lorton, Virginia, Bradley Bolluyt (Jenn Melcher) of Edgerton, Kristi (Jerry) Houselog of Pipestone, and Amy (Bill) Burkhart of Greenwood, Indiana; five grandchildren, Claire (Andrew) Griese, Paige (Abner) Dela Cruz, Darek Johnson (Reese Krause), Andrew Bolluyt, and Austin Houselog; one brother, James (Cookie) Feist of Hemet, California; and one sister, Susan Robertson of Hopewell, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlyn; her parents, Raymond and Helen; her father- and mother-in-law, Arie and Johanna Bolluyt; and her brother-in-law, Lee Robertson.
