Linda Jensen

Linda Gail Jensen was born on October 26, 1951 to Ernest and Pearlie (Finchum) Morgan in Farmville, Virginia. As a child, Linda spent a great deal of time outdoors and enjoyed climbing trees. When she was 13, the family moved to Charleston, South Carolina. Linda attended high school in North Charleston, South Carolina. While working as a waitress, Linda met her future husband who was in the Navy and stationed in Charleston. On September 25, 1972, Linda was united in marriage to Stanley Jensen in Goose Creek, South Carolina. That same year, they moved to Luverne, Minnesota. In 1975, they relocated to Beaver Creek, Minnesota. To this union three children were born, Ron, Tomas, and Leland. She thoroughly enjoyed raising her boys. In 2024, Stanley and Linda moved to Brandon, South Dakota, where on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Linda died at her home surrounded by family at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 15 days.

In her spare time, Linda volunteered with the Head Start Program and was a former member of the Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and was very gifted when it came to arts and crafts. She was skilled at quilting, sewing, painting, candle making, and other creative projects. Linda made a special keepsake quilt for each of her children and grandchildren. Family was always most important to her. Linda will be remembered as being very kind and willing to help anyone in need.

Linda is survived by her husband, Stanley Jensen of Brandon, South Dakota; three sons, Ronnie (Natasha) Jensen of Garretson, South Dakota, Tomas Jensen of Tacoma, Washington, and Leland (Emily) Jensen of Pipestone, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Molly, Megan, Eric, Evan, Eli, Mackenzie, and Autumn; and siblings, Tommy (Sharon) Jamerson of Richmond, Virginia, Joyce (Jessie) Yeatts of Rice, Virginia, Velma Cattles of North Charleston, and Brenda Powers of Goose Creek, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Pearlie Morgan; and sister, Carolyn Brown.
