Patricia "Pat" Tuin

Patricia  "Pat" Sephronia Tuin was born on March 21, 1948 to Donald Harry and Elsie May (Foster) Huebner in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. James Lutheran Church in Holland, Minnesota. Pat married the love of her life, Dean Robert Tuin, on August 18, 1966 at the St. James Lutheran Church, in Holland, Minnesota. During her adulthood, Pat worked hard at many jobs, including Campbell Soup, Bayliner Marine, Hank's Food Deli and at the Pipestone County Medical Center in the food service. When Pat wasn't working, she could be found enjoying vacations, going on camping trips, shopping and going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat will be remembered for her happy go lucky personality - she always had a smile on her face. Everyone who knew her, said she was 'one of a kind'.  She was always known for her love of Christmas and how she would buy gifts all year round for her family. Pat's outfits always matched her sparkling personality - she was always dressed with blingy rhinestones on.   

Pat is lovingly remembered by her children; Doug (Becky) Tuin of Fulda, Minnesota, Kim (special friend, Greg Erickson) Tuin of Pipestone, Minnesota; sibling, Donna (special friend, Jerry Hollatz) Reese of Carlos, Minnesota; three grandchildren; Taylor (Levi) Ossefoort, Tara (fiancé, Logan McCarvel) Tuin and William Portz; four great-grandchildren, Taylee Ossefoort, Taci Ossefoort, Thielen Ossefoort and Titus Ossefoort; and good friends, Linda (George) Dapp. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Tuin; sister, Vonnie (Edgar) Timm; brother, Don (Marlene) Tuin; brother-in-law, Robert Reese; her parents Donald (Elsie) Huebner; her mother- and father-in-law, George and Lois Tuin; and her brother- and sister-in-law, Don and Marlene Tuin.
