Pedro Aguilar Garcia was born April 29, 1961 to Pablo Aguilar and Joaquina Garcia in Guerrero, Mexico. On September 15, 2024, Pedro was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church in Pipestone, Minnesota. On March 14, 2025, Pedro was united in marriage to Polly Gosha at the Pipestone Courthouse in Pipestone, though the couple has been together and loved each other for over 8 years. Throughout his working years Pedro did many jobs from carpentry work to electrician work with T&R Electric. However, in his working years cooking was his passion. He started out as a dishwasher and worked his way up the ladder and learned to cook many incredible dishes for his friends and family members. He loved to cook healthy food; his family always wanted him to come to their home to cook for them. Seafood was one of his favorites but Japanese food was up there on the list as well! Polly and Pedro were a good fit for each other and caring for Pedro throughout his health challenges was a task that Polly felt blessed to be able to do.
Pedro was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Pipestone where he attended their Spanish services. He enjoyed meeting there for Bible studies. He was a faithful servant. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and wood working.
Pedro is lovingly remembered by his wife, Polly Aguilar of Pipestone; children, Arlene Aguilar of Oregon, Jhon Aguilar of Oregon, Frederick (Georgina) Leon of Monticello, Minnesota, Edsel Aguilar of Pipestone, and Kevin Arp of Edgerton, Minnesota; three grandchildren; siblings, Gabriel (Carmela) Garcia, Pablo Garcia, Elena Aguilar, Irene Aguilar, Jesus Aguilar, Cesar Aguilar, and Nicasio Aguilar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Aguilar and Joaquina Garcia; and daughter, Aileen Aguilar.
