Sally Tessier

Sally Norma Tessier was born May 31, 1948 in Ada, Minnesota to Edwald and Dora (King) Schultz. She graduated from Frazee High School in Frazee, Minnesota. On December 26, 1970, Sally was united in marriage to Greg Tessier in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She worked at Red Owl as a meat cutter and also at Barrel of Fun. On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Sally died peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society – Mary Jane Brown Home in Luverne, Minnesota at the age of 75 years, nine months and two days.

Sally loved to feed her squirrels and birds. She would buy bread by the garbage bag full to keep them fed. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Eric) Mattfeld of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; a granddaughter, Jasmine (Tony) Kreger; three great-granddaughters, Madelyn, Penelope and Ruby Kreger; and two siblings, Richard (Sandy) Schultz of Frazee, and Sue (Duane) Wirth of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Tessier; parents, Ed and Dora Schultz; and sister, Sarah Bernier.
