TIMOTHY EUGENE "MUGS" BRADY was born on April 4, 1961 to Cynthia Sylvia (Crow) Brady in Pipestone, Minnesota. He attended school in Pipestone and later attained his GED. He then attended Pipestone VoTech for auto mechanic schooling. Mugs worked at the casino as a porter and he was known for being a marvelous pipe maker and was very meticulous in his craftsmanship. He demonstrated pipe carving at the Pipestone National Monument for 20 years for the Shrine Association. In 2010, he twisted his knee and later got arthritis but he kept going as he could. In December of 2021, he entered the care of the Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone where he passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 61.
Mugs will be remembered for his good heart, kindness and being considerate. He was friendly on the outside but sometimes shy on the inside. He enjoyed playing pool, watching race cars and drag racing. He had a great bond with his family, nieces and nephews, and treasured the time he spent with them.
Mugs is survived by his siblings; Quentin "Swede" (Connie) Crow of Pipestone, Gary (Debra) Brady of Pipestone, Jacqueline (Greg) Martens of Woodstock, Minnesota, Karen (special friend, Joe) Brady of Marshall, Minnesota, Kim (Steve) Grell of Spencer, Iowa, Stephen (special friend, Teresa) Brady of Flandreau, South Dakota and David (Marion) Brady of Pipestone and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia; his father, Curtis Westly; one sister, Adaleen Christian; and one nephew, Andrew Brady.
